Tracy Moss, MSW

President & CEO

Tracy, a US veteran, is an outspoken advocate for girls and women. She brings passion, energy, and creativity to her leadership role at IPD, as well as over 20 years of management experience in logistics, government, and administration.

Tracey has mentored young girls in the Little Rock School District and led workshops for Collin County youth. She has also volunteered at other organizations such as Minnie Foods Pantry, Allen Outreach, and the Samaritan Inn, to name a few. She is a member of the Collin County National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (CCNAACP), which enables her to participate in a variety of community outreach events.

Her goal is to use her skills to make a difference and improve systems that affect diversity, equity, and inclusion for all people.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Baptist College and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). Service leadership is her calling as it remains the foundation of her commitment to mission driven organizations like IPD. Tracy’s inspiration for our generation’s collective legacy is to build and participate in a community of respect, empathy, and understanding. One of the many roles Tracy takes on, her role as a mother, is what makes her most proud. In her free time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning about different cultures. She has always been passionate in mentoring and developing young people. Tracy’s advice to IPD mentees is to be lifelong learners and pursue all their interests and talents. Don’t try to fit in because only you can fulfill your purpose. You are the architect of your own life. “I Project Destiny” for your life.
